Car companies have been developing autonomous vehicle technology for years, and Ford is inching closer to unveiling its newest model at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and the North American International Auto Show.

According to Chris Brewer, Chief Program Engineer for Ford Autonomous Vehicle Development, Ford is creating two perception mechanisms that will help power the Fusion Hybrid’s virtual driver system.
